Kemi Southern Shores Land Use Development Plan, 2018
A land use development plan was prepared for "MERI-KEMI", the Mansikkanokka and Pajarinranta area located in the southern part of the city center of Kemi.
The work included land use analysis, granularity analysis, 3D modeling, and building rights calculations by use for the entire area.
The development plan examined the southern shores of Kemi as part of the city centre and as an area with excellent accessibility, especially for vehicle traffic. The development plan aims to raise Kemi's attractiveness to a new level, especially from a housing and tourism perspective. The Mansikkanokka area will offer housing, accommodation, program and recreational services, and diverse experiences in the best urban and scenic area of the city centre in Kemi.
