Jouni shopping area plan amendment, 2020-2022
The local plan amendment enables the development of the Jouni shopping area as a shopping center and the center of Äkäslompolo village.
The zoning change (total area 4.0 ha) enabled a 4th-story building, the purpose of which is to demonstrate the role of the Jouni shopping area as the visual and functional center of the village of Äkäslompolo. High-quality construction serving tourism was enabled on the shore.
